The Caregiver Support Program provides respite services and/or caregiver supplies such as nutrition supplements and incontinence supplies to eligible caregivers of older adults.
It also provides access to available services that will help them meet the diverse needs for their specific circumstances.
The Lincoln County Caregiver Support program receives federal funding from the Older American’s Act and operates in collaboration with other local agencies that provide support to local caregivers.
The North Carolina Division of Aging has identified five service categories where funding can be used to help caregivers.
